PeakTech 2720 - Portable Appliance Tester

The PeakTech 2720 is a mobile appliance tester which is used for the safety testing of portable appliances.
The equivalent leakage current method (I-EA) is used for this purpose.
The appliance tester enables you to test the functionality and safety of various appliances in order to ensure personal safety when using electrical appliances.
It is ideal for testing appliances in protection classes 1 and 2 with mains switches, such as heaters, electrical tools, lights with mains plugs, household appliances or for testing multiple sockets and extension cables.
Due to the substitute leakage current method, it is not suitable for mains-dependent switchgear, which must only be tested using the leakage current method.
The tests of electrical devices of protection class 1 and 2, as well as the testing of extension and IEC cables, are carried out automatically after selecting the correct test for the device by confirming with the "Test" button.
The intuitive operation of the device makes it possible to use and deploy this appliance tester for various safety tests on portable appliances.
The device was developed for tests in accordance with DIN EN 50678 (VDE 0701), DIN EN 50699 (VDE 0702), DGUV V3, BetrSichV.
