This professional clamp meter allows current measurements and non contact voltage detection with flashlight.
It is sturdy, ergonomic, non-flammable, double-shelled and can be used in the industrial or civil field and in confined measurement spaces.
A current clamp measures the algebraic sum of the currents passing between its jaws. If both the phase conductor and the neutral are passed, the total current should be 0, the difference, if any, is the earth leakage current.
In daily work this measuring device is ideal for identifying and measuring currents leakage that can occur due to poor insulation to earth.
